LuAnn has always loved stories, especially the kind that bring hope. She grew up sharing a room with her younger sister, where bedtime often turned into storytelling sessions about an enormous house with hidden rooms—including her favorite, an ice cream parlor.

Before becoming a novelist, LuAnn spent years in education and administrative work—first as a middle and high school math teacher, and later as an editor of technical reports for engineers. After retiring, she stepped fully into the writing life she had long dreamed about.

Today she writes heartwarming Christian contemporary romance rooted in faith, hope, and the beauty of second chances. Her stories explore emotional healing and the courage it takes to trust again. She is the author of the Love in Pleasant Springs series, set in a small Tennessee town where imperfect people discover grace, love, and new beginnings. A 2021 Selah Award finalist for Let Him Go (Book 2 of the Love Comes Again series), she continues to create stories that reflect faith and hope in everyday life.

Born and raised in Ohio, she is a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. After living twelve years in New Mexico, she returned to Tennessee, where she now shares life with her husband of over fifty years, their nearby family, a dog, and two mischievous cats.

When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, photographing nature, and eating ice cream.
